Only twice do handwritten notes prove book-gifts from Luise Ulrike to her daughter, both times they are multi-volume historical treatises on French history that Sofia Albertina received as a young girl. Luise Ulrike noted in the first of two volumes of the "Histoire de la Reunion de la Bretagne à la France" from 1764: "Ce Livre cest trouvé double dans ma Bibliotheque et donné a ma Fille“ (This book was found double in my library and given to my daughter.)
